    Ticket Office Assistant Manager

    (Full time, Permanent)

    Reporting to the Ticket Office Manager, this is a key role within the Ticket Office based at Celtic Park, Glasgow. You will be responsible for the day to day running of an extremely busy Ticketing Operation. You will lead, motivate and manage a dedicated team, to deliver the highest quality of customer service, within a high pressured environment.

    The post holder will be responsible for the management of home and away match ticket sales, staff planning and the management of staffing Rota’s, deputising for the Ticket office Manager as and when required. Responsible, too, for the recruitment and development of staff on an ongoing basis. This list is not exclusive and you may be requested to carry out additional duties to those mentioned.

    Skills & Experience Required:

    The successful candidate will have a proven track record in people management, preferably gained within a contact centre and customer service based environment. Experience within the sports/ticketing industry with a good sales background is essential to this post. The ability to lead, motivate and influence others will be key to this role. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, with a positive and professional attitude. A good working knowledge of Microsoft applications, particularly excel is required.

    This is a great opportunity for an experienced, confident and enthusiastic manager, with an innovative but disciplined approach to work, to be part of the Ticket Office Management Team.

    Women’s First Team and Girl’s Academy Physiotherapist

    (Full-time, permanent)

    Celtic Football Club is currently seeking a First Team Physiotherapist to join the Women’s Football team. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing treatment to Women’s First Team and Girl’s Academy Players.

    Key accountabilities will include:

    • Responsibility for caseload, ensuring a high standard of care of all players.
    • To undertake pre-participation screening and comprehensive clinical assessments, including patients with complex musculoskeletal problems, using clinical reasoning skills to establish accurate diagnosis.
    • To provide highly skilled treatment, using manual therapy and manipulation techniques.
    • To maintain a safe working environment and comply with Health and Safety requirements and associated procedures, including accident reporting.
    • Communicate in a professional manner maximising effectiveness of treatment modalities.
    • To liaise, as required, with other members of the multi-disciplinary medical team.
    • To participate in clinical audits and in-service training as directed by the Head of Physiotherapy.
    • Maintain comprehensive, accurate, confidential, contemporaneous medical and patient records.
    • To ensure that patient confidentiality and dignity is maintained at all times.
    • Observe strict confidentiality in respect of all information about players or Club matters.
    • To take responsibility for own Continuous Professional Development through self-directed learning and reflective practice in line with Clinical Governance and Health Professions Council standards.
    • Maintain registration with Health Professions Council, adhering to standards of conduct, performance and ethics.
    • To undertake such other duties as might reasonably be required from time to time.

    Skills and Experience required:

    • Chartered Status
    • Full member of HCPC
    • At least 1 years’ experience working with elite sports teams or professional athletes
    • Honours degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent

    The role will require a flexible approach to working hours, with evening, weekend and match day working required.

    Girl’s Academy Manager

    (full-time)

    Celtic Football Club has an exciting opportunity for a Girl’s Academy Manager.  The role will be responsible for the organisation and management of the Girl’s Academy, with additional commercial responsibilities focussing on fundraising, sponsorship and events.

    Key accountabilities will include:

    • Organisation and management of all teams and coaches in relation to training sessions and match days
    • Liaise with the Women’s Team Head Coach on forthcoming fixtures and events
    • Monitor coach and team performance
    • Provide in-house coach education sessions
    • Create a performance culture and ensure player wellbeing is at the core of the development philosophy
    • Organise all fundraising activities, events and sponsorship in conjunction with the commercial team
    • Research and identify potential new funding opportunities
    • Complete administration duties for the Girl’s Academy including the registration of players
    • Retain, recruit and identify players and staff
    • Implementation and management of Celtic’s young player development program
    • Provide a support mechanism to assigned players, coaches and parents
    • Ensure regular, clear communication with players and parents at all times
    • Work alongside the Safeguarding team to ensure all child protection policies are in place
    • Ensure the correct implementation and adherence to all rules and regulations
    • Facilitate meetings and events as required with parents and coaches
    • Attend matches and provide updates as required
    • Liaise with SWF and SFA as required

    The role requires a flexible approach to working hours, with evening and weekend working required.

    Skills and Experience required:

    • Applicants must hold a valid UEFA A Licence
    • Previous football experience in coaching and playing required
    • High level of management, prioritisation and organisational skills
    • IT literate

    E-Commerce Team Leader – Customer Services

    (full-time)

    Celtic Football Club has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Team Leader to be part of the in-house operation of The Celtic Store online.

    Reporting to the E-Commerce Manager, the successful candidate will have day-to-day responsibility for the effective operation of the E-Commerce Customer Service team and will oversee a team of advisors, ensuring all agreed KPIs are met and exceeded.

    Key accountabilities:

    • Responsible for overseeing E-Commerce Customer Service Advisers team members
    • Ensuring all agreed KPIs are met and exceeded in relation to call answering, sales processing and customer resolutions
    • Liaise with warehouse team to track all orders and identify any issues that may affect the customer
    • Overall responsibility for responding to customer enquiries via email, phone and official Twitter feed
    • Work with the warehouse team to ensure customer returns and refunds are processed in a timely manner
    • Confidently conduct regular 121s with team members
    • Plan resource effectively for peak periods of trading throughout the year
    • Develop excellent product knowledge to identify opportunities to up sell or offer alternative products
    • Effectively coach and manage a team to ensure the delivery of a first class service to the customer
    • Be able to proactively identify any issues that may affect the customer, in order to resolve promptly whilst keeping the customer informed

    Skills and Experience required:

    • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a retail environment
    • Keen eye for detail with strong written and verbal communication
    • Experience of line management
    • IT literate and experience of using systems
    • Microsoft packages at intermediate level
    • Flexible approach to work and a can-do attitude
    • Able to multi-task during busy periods

    Experienced Chefs to work at Celtic Park on match days

    We are looking to recruit qualified, experienced chefs to work on a casual basis, within the hospitality operation, at Celtic Park, on match days.

    Reporting to the Head/Sous Chef, this role will entail all aspects of food preparation and food services during match days. Rates of pay are competitive and a typical shift on a match day would be 8am – 4pm

    Key accountabilities:

    • To prepare, cook and deliver food to the highest standard, in line with Chef’s menu and/or service brief
    • To keep kitchen areas clean and tidy, highlighting any maintenance issues or potential hazards to the Head/Sous Chef
    • To have an understanding of all kitchen procedures, food safety paperwork and the recording of wastage
    • To be passionate about food and maintain the highest company standards
    • To ensure customer satisfaction at all times

    Experience and Skills

    Essential:

    • City & guilds 706/1&2 or SVQ level equivalent

    Work Experience & Internships

    Unfortunately we are unable to accept any more work experience or internship placements at present as we are now fully committed for the next 12 months.

    Celtic offers a rewarding and comprehensive week-long Work Experience programme for school pupils aged 14-15. This provides placements in five different areas of the business during the course of a week. These typically include the Ticket Office, Superstore, Pools, Hospitality and Visitor Centre. Very occasionally we may be able to accommodate pupils on a specific department of their choice, such as Multi Media or Finance.

    Celtic also receives numerous enquiries about longer-term placements and internships, paid and unpaid. Regrettably, we generally do not have the resources to be able to offer this kind of programme.

    First Aid Stewards Required to Work at Celtic Park on Match Days

    We are looking to recruit staff on a casual basis as designated First Aid Stewards at Celtic Park on match days.

    This is a responsible and specialised role within the stewarding operation, with a focus on the health, safety and wellbeing of both children and adults.

    All stewards are eligible for additional benefits such as discounts in our superstore.

    A HSE First Aid at Work certificate must be obtained by the individual prior to work commencing. Other basic training will be provided.

    Duties include:

    • Assisting those indeed who may be injured or unwell.
    • Liaising with the full First Aid team as appropriate.
    • Checking Tickets
    • Answering questions from spectators
    • Helping people to their seats
    • General stewarding duties
