new procedures for 2010/2011

In the event that the Club qualifies for the Play Off and/or Group Stages of UEFA Champions League in Season 2010/2011, new procedures will be in place.
As part of Celtic’s involvement in the UEFA Competitions , the Club is obliged to provide seats in specific categories for UEFA partners which has created a recurring problem for a small number of season ticket holders as it means that they are not able to take up their season seat for matches.  As a result of feedback which we received from supporters regarding the relocation process, a working group of 13 individuals from those areas affected was set up to establish new procedures.
The working group discussed many ideas and a proposal was put forward to season book holders at a meeting on 8th April 2009 at Celtic Park and the recommendation was carried in full with no objections by supporters who attended the meeting.
For next season, Areas 103 to 107 will be available on a first come first served basis and this proposal will affect a small number of supporters. Those season book holders registered on the Home Cup Ticket Scheme will automatically be relocated to another seat within their area if UEFA require their season seat.   For those on the scheme, and their seat is not required by UEFA, supporters will automatically be allocated their season seat.  Season book holders who choose not to register on the Home Cup Ticket Scheme, a postal application will be sent which can be returned by post, fax, email or tickets can be purchased in person at the Celtic Ticket Office which has extended opening hours during this sale.  The new procedures will be monitored throughout the season and the Working Group will reconvene during the campaign to discuss the progress of the new system and at the end of the year will come together to judge how effective the new procedures have been.

Season book holders in Area 439 and 440 will also be affected by this relocation process and have been notified in writing of the procedures which will be in place.  These procedures will be similar to those in place for the North Stand.

The Club fully understands the frustration caused by the UEFA relocation process for a small number of our supporters and we try at all times to ensure that the disruption to our supporters is kept to a minimum.

We would like to thank supporters for their co-operation with regards to this issue.
