WITH tomorrow’s (Friday’s) Season Ticket renewal deadline fast approaching, first-team stars Victor Wanyama and Efe Ambrose will be on hand at the Ticket Office on the day from 1. 30pm to meet with supporters who have travelled to Celtic Park to renew.

The Bhoys will be signing autographs and posing for photo opportunities with supporters as the renewal period draws to a close.

ANTHONY Stokes reckons Celtic´s impressive end to the league campaign has given them a timely confidence boost ahead of Sunday´s Scottish Cup final against Hibernian.

The champions finished the season in style thanks to resounding 4-0 victories over St Johnstone and Dundee United, with the Irishman on target on both occasions.

And the Hoops hitman says this was the perfect prelude for the Hampden showpiece as Neil Lennon´s men aim to seal the domestic double for the first time in six years.

Celtic Learning helps new immigrants in English language skills

THE Celtic Learning Centre has been offering support to new immigrants to Glasgow in developing their English language skills. The young people involved are Somalian, Slovakian, Polish, Cameroonian, Kurdish, South African, Afghan and Iraqi.

The pupils, from Holyrood and All Saints Secondary schools, have been working on Celtic Learning’s established Literacy course.

THE Ticket Office at Celtic Park will be open until 7pm tonight (Thursday) to help deal with the expected flow of business ahead of Season Ticket deadline day.

The deadline day is almost upon us now with season ticket holders having until tomorrow, Friday, May 24, to renew their seats in time for the 2013/14 season.

Brown ready for Battle of the Greens

IF anyone in the Celtic squad knows about Hibernian´s Hampden heartbreak it’s Scott Brown, but he´s feeling no sympathy for his former club ahead of this weekend´s Scottish Cup final.

As part of the Edinburgh side, Brown lost to Livingston in the League Cup final in 2004. But having spent eight years at the club in total, he also understands how desperate they are to end 111 years without the Scottish Cup in their trophy cabinet.

CELTIC supporters have had the Celtic Park Ticket Office staff working hard to keep pace with the demand for next season’s seats as the renewal deadline approaches this Friday, May 24.

Among those having safely secured their seats is Michael Broadley from Bannockburn. Michael was amongst the first supporters to renew his season ticket for the 2013/2014 season, and has also renewed for his kids Josh (9) and Chloe (14) (Pictured above at a recent visit to Celtic Park) for what will be their fourth season in Paradise.

ON Sunday, May 12, events were held around the world for National Famine Memorial Day.

As part of Celtic’s commemoration, the team wore the home kit with the National Famine Memorial Day logo embroidered on the Hoops shirts and Celtic Charity is delighted to offer you the opportunity to bid on one of these unique shirts from a selection of original, signed, team shirts worn in that match, the day they also lifted the SPL trophy following a 4-0 win over St Johnstone.

Proceeds of this shirt sale will be used to fund Celtic Charity projects.

Lustig: We're determined to do the Double

WITH the league trophy draped in green and white ribbons inside Celtic Park, the Hoops already have one piece of silverware to their name this season.

That´s made Mikael Lustig and his team-mates even hungrier to add to that on Sunday, but the Swedish defender understands it has also put more pressure on to their shoulders.

He wants nothing more than to take the Scottish Cup back to Paradise this weekend to sit it next to the SPL trophy, and after the successful season Celtic have had he knows there is even more expectation on them to perform.

Kris Commons retires from international football

KRIS Commons has announced that he has ended his Scotland career to concentrate on his family and on club football. The Celtic midfielder won 12 caps and scored two goals for Scotland.

Kris told the official Celtic website: "I have enjoyed my time immensely with the Scotland team and it was a very proud moment every time I pulled on the Scotland shirt.

AN ECSTATIC Tony Watt admitted that it´s a dream come to true to earn his first call-up to the full Scotland squad today.
