A goal in either half was enough to secure a Celtic victory over Dunfermline, as Neil Lennon's side extended their winning run to 19 games and their lead at the top of the table to a remarkable 20 points.

Charlie Mulgrew opened the scoring with an outstanding long-range strike before substitute James Forrest doubled the Hoops’ advantage 15 minutes from the end. It was an evening Celtic could have won even more comfortably, such was their domination in terms of possession and chances.

Anthony Stokes Striker School coming in Easter School Holidays

CELTIC Grassroots Football is delighted to announce the next upcoming holiday soccer school for the Easter break.

After the highly successful and sold-out Gary Hooper and Paddy McCourt Camps it is now the turn of Anthony Stokes to have his very own Striker School.

The Anthony Stokes Striker School will run during the Easter school holidays from the 2nd to the 5th of April at the East End Healthy Living Centre in Glasgow and the camp will run from 10am to 3pm each day.

THIS week´s Celtic View celebrates another milestone in Neil Lennon´s managerial career as the Hoops passed the 200 domestic goals mark under his reign.

Anthony Stokes´ opener against Hibernian at the weekend was the 200th goal and the View speaks to the goalscorer as well as highlighting a few of the other goals on the road to No. 200.

NEIL Lennon was delighted at the news of Charlie Mulgrew’s first call-up to the Scotland squad. The defender, who has been in superb form for the Hoops this season, joins fellow Celts Scott Brown and James Forrest in the squad for next week’s friendly away to Slovenia.

And the Celtic boss believes the international recognition for Mulgrew is reward for the hard work the player has put in to improve his game.

McIntyre: U17s can bounce back from Glasgow Cup defeat

CELTIC’S Under-17s took an early lead but ended up losing their first match in this season’s Glasgow Cup campaign, going down 2-1 to Rangers on Tuesday night.

Lewis Kidd opened the scoring for the Hoops in the 16th minute but after conceding an equaliser from the penalty spot 18 minutes later, Rangers took the lead and sealed the victory early in the second-half.

Head coach, Tommy McIntyre, was disappointed with the result but believes the youngsters will take a lot from the experience.

ON the back of Sunday’s resounding 5-0 victory against Hibernian, Neil Lennon wants his side to maintain their impressive form when they go head-to-head with Dunfermline this evening (Wednesday).

The Pars, who are fighting for survival at the bottom of the table, face Celtic for the third time this season, and the Hoops boss is hoping to make it three wins out of three, after the 2-1 victory at home in November, and a 3-0 win in Fife at the start of this year.

“It is an exceptional level of consistency the players have shown and in that time there have been some sparkling performances,” the manager said.

HIS side may be sitting top of the league, 17 points ahead of their nearest rivals, but Scott Brown expects no easy games between now and the end of the season.

The captain knows Celtic are the team everyone wants to beat, and believes they must be prepared for the opposition raising their game. And tomorrow evening, (Wednesday) will be a perfect example of this, with bottom side, Dunfermline, coming to Celtic Park.

Joe Ledley can't wait to meet the Good Child Foundation kids

CELTIC’S Welsh midfielder, Joe Ledley, guests on Celtic TV’s Huddle Online on Tuesday and he has said that he is really looking forward to the forthcoming visit of the Thai Tims.

The kids from the Good Child Foundation in Thailand are coming to Glasgow in late April for a few weeks and will perform at a match after the split as well as in concert in Glasgow.

Ledley is one of several current Celtic players who the kids have performed songs about in recent months.

IF the Celtic support are often praised as being the ‘12th man’, then they recently played the role of ‘11th man’ in the home win over Inverness Caley Thistle after Daniel Majstorovic was red-carded during the match.

That decision was later overturned on appeal, but the game itself saw Celtic hold on for a vital 1-0 victory, and the fans, according to Adam Matthews, played their part in the win.

“I think the crowd helped us a lot,” he told this week’s Celtic View.

The reorganisation of the Celtic Charity Fund Board of Trustees is to support and monitor the implementation of a new strategic direction for the Charity Fund.

CHARLIE Mulgrew was already on a high after scoring a wonderful free-kick to help Celtic to a 5-0 victory over Hibernian on Sunday, and he received another piece of good news today with his first call-up to the full Scotland squad.

CELTIC are delighted to announce that 40 children from the Good Child Foundation are to visit Glasgow between late April and early May 2012.

Affectionately known as ‘The Thai Tims’, the children have been taken to the hearts of the Celtic family after performing a number of songs about the Club.

Toshney included in Scotland Under-21 squad

LEWIS Toshney has been named in the Scottish Under-21 squad for their UEFA European Championship qualifier against Holland.

The young defender, a product of the Celtic Youth Academy, recently joined Kilmarnock on loan and has impressed in his three appearances for the Rugby Park side, which included a terrific 1-0 win at Ibrox on Saturday.

Billy Stark’s side will face their Dutch counterparts at St Mirren Park next Wednesday (February 29), having beaten them in Nijmegen last November.

CHARLIE Mulgrew has earned his first full Scotland call-up, after being included in Craig Levein’s 24-man squad for the friendly against Slovenia at the end of the month.

The accolade is just reward for the defender’s outstanding form for Celtic throughout the current campaign, and indeed, during the latter part of last season.

CELTIC surged 17 points clear at the SPL summit and extended their domestic winning streak to 18 games after a ruthless 5-0 demolition of Hibernian at Easter Road

Anthony Stokes was the scourge of his former employers once again in the opening 45 minutes, scoring the opener and setting up Gary Hooper as the visitors enjoyed complete dominance.

There was no let-up after the interval as a rampant Celtic added two more goals in the space of five minutes to seal the points, with Charlie Mulgrew fizzing home a trademark free-kick and Hooper bagging his brace.

In the closing stages, Ki compounded the home side’s misery as he diverted Kris Commons’ effort past Stack.
