Terms and Conditions
Celtic F.C. Limited ("Celtic") is registered in Scotland and based at Celtic Park, Glasgow, G40 3RE (company registration number SC223604).
In these Terms and Conditions:
"Celtic Park" means the stadium known as Celtic Park, Glasgow, G40 3RE;
"Product(s)" mean Paving Stones and/or Seat Plaques and/or Stadium Bricks (as appropriate);
"Replica Products" means the stones/bricks available on the site to purchase which are replicas of your stone which is laid at Celtic Park.
"Terms and Conditions" mean these terms and conditions of sale;
"Working Day" means a day other than a Saturday or Sunday on which clearing banks are normally open for business in Glasgow; and
"You" means a person who purchases Product(s) from Celtic, and "Your" will be construed accordingly.
CELTIC RESERVES THE RIGHT IN ITS SOLE DISCRETION TO IMMEDIATELY REMOVE AND DESTROY SEAT PLAQUES IN THE EVENT THAT YOUR SEASON TICKET ENDS FOR ANY REASON.
All orders are subject to acceptance by Celtic. You should receive a confirmation of Your order by email, along with Your order reference number, within 5 Working Day of Celtic's receipt of Your order. You should retain Your order reference number for future reference.
Any acceptance of Your order by Celtic is subject to these Terms and Conditions and to the availability of stock. Celtic will supply the Product(s) and the Replica Product(s) in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
Celtic reserves the right to withdraw any Product(s) from sale and may in its sole discretion refuse to process an order for any reason at any time. Celtic will not be liable to You or any third party by reason of Celtic withdrawing any Products or refusing to process any order. Your statutory rights as a consumer will still apply.
If You place an order on behalf of any third party, You represent and warrant that You are validly authorised to act on behalf of, and bind to these Terms and Conditions, that third party.
Because the Products are personalised for You, when You place an order for a Product or a Replica Product, you will have no right to cancel this order.
Price and Payment
All prices are quoted in pounds sterling and unless stated otherwise include VAT. Except in the case of obvious error, the prices payable for the Product(s) that You order are as displayed at the time at which You place Your order and will be set out in Celtic's email confirmation of Your order.
Payment may be made using a wide selection of credit and debit cards. You confirm that the credit/debit card which is being used is Yours. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. Celtic reserves the right to refuse credit card payments in its reasonable discretion.
Description of Product(s)
The Products depicted in the Celtic shop and/or the Celtic online store are as seen. The reproduction of colours and styles are as accurate as photographic and image processing will allow. Celtic does not accept responsibility for slight variances in colour and style.
Because we will personalise the Product(s) and Replica Product(s) Celtic cannot guarantee that any changes or amendments may be made to inscriptions after the point of purchase. Any requests of this nature may be directed to either email@example.com firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com within 10 Working Days of Celtic receiving Your order confirmation. After this time Celtic cannot accept any changes to the relevant inscription, as the Product(s) will be personalised as per Your order specification.
Seat Plaques - Each inscription may consist of a maximum 28 characters split over two (2) lines with up to 14 characters on each line. Punctuation marks and spaces will count as 1 character.
Celtic Paving Stones (small) – Each inscription may consist of a maximum 28 characters split over two (2) lines with up to 14 characters on each line. Punctuation marks and spaces will count as 1 character.
Celtic Paving Stones (large) - Each inscription may consist of a maximum 42 characters split over three (3) lines with up to 14 characters on each line. A Club crest is also engraved in addition to your inscription.
Celtic Park Stadium Bricks - Each inscription may consist of a maximum 28 characters split over two (2) lines with up to 14 characters on each line. Punctuation marks and spaces will count as 1 character.
All messages will be checked and Celtic reserve the right to withdraw Product(s) should they deem that You intended to, or that placement of the Product(s) is likely to, cause insult, embarrassment or offence to any individual, group or organisation. If Celtic receives a complaint from any individual, group or organisation in relation to the content of Your Product(s) Celtic reserves the right in its sole discretion to remove and destroy the Product(s). In either case neither You nor any third party shall be entitled to any refund of monies paid to Celtic and You waive Your rights to make any claim for damages or any costs against Celtic as a result.
All Product(s) will be produced according to the Product specification and Your order before being installed in or around the stadium or on the seat(s) specified in Your order at Celtic Park. Celtic will endeavour to have Your Product(s) installed within 40 Working Days of You placing Your order. If Celtic is unable to do this for any reason, it will install Your Product(s) as soon as it is reasonably able to do so, and shall have no further liability to you or any third party.
Ownership of Product(s) laid/attached within Celtic Park Stadium will remain with Celtic at all times and as such Celtic shall determine the specific location of each and every Product installed (save that Your Product(s) shall be installed in or around the stadium or on the seat(s) specified on Your order).
Celtic retains the right to move or relocate (at any time) a Product at its discretion. Once installed, Products must not be altered by You in any way. Celtic reserves the right to take any action it considers appropriate should this occur.
Delivery of Replica Products
We will deliver any Replica Products ordered by You to the address you give for delivery when you make Your order within 30 days of the date that the contract is accepted by Celtic. You may specify a delivery address which is different from your invoice address if, for example, you would like us to deliver the Replica Products directly to a friend, a relative, or to your place of work.
Celtic uses a range of carriers to fulfil deliveries. This enables our service to continue unaffected, for example, during industrial action. Delivery charges may apply and will be as set out at the time of your order.
If you do not receive Replica Products ordered by you within 20 Working Days of the corresponding product being installed at Celtic Park, you must notify us by email so we can make good the non-delivery. Celtic shall have no liability to You unless You notify us. Unless you have cancelled Your order prior to delivery, you will become the owner of the Replica Products once they have been delivered to you or collected from the designated collection point. In any case, after delivery they will be held at your own risk and Celtic will not be liable for any loss, damage or destruction to the Replica Products except insofar as it arises from an inherent defect in any of the Replica Products.
Taxes and Duties on Replica Products
If you order Products from our site for delivery outside the UK they may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. Please note that we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.
Please also note that you must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the products are destined. We will not be liable for any breach by you of any such laws.
Returns of Replica Products
If the Replica Product that you have ordered is damaged or has been inscribed incorrectly as a result of an error on Celtic's part, provided that the Replica Product is in the condition that it was delivered to You in, you can within 10 Working Days of delivery return it to us for prompt replacement or refund.
If you need to return an item for this reason, simply email us at either firstname.lastname@example.org email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org, indicating your order reference number, which item(s) and the number of items to be returned, your reason for returning the item, and whether you are seeking a replacement (in which case state the details of the original and correct inscription) or refund. Alternatively you can call us on 0141 551 4391 or fax on 0141 551 4259. We also ask you to give us a daytime contact telephone number. If the item is returnable under these Terms and Conditions, we will issue you with a returns address at this point.
Defective Replica Products
If you need to return a Replica Product because of an error on our part, or because it is defective, we will happily refund your costs in returning it to us. The item(s) must be returned in the condition in which you received it within 10 Working Days of delivery.
Returned Replica Products Lost in Transit
We cannot be held responsible for packages lost in transit: as you are responsible for returning the items to us, we recommend sending the packages by recorded or special delivery.
Refunds and Replacements of Replica Products
For defective item(s) returned to us within 10 Working Days of delivery and in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, a refund will be processed by us within 20 Working Days of our receipt of the returned items. Due to the nature of the Product(s), replacements will take longer and will be produced by us within 40 Working Days of receipt of the returned items. A refund will be made in the same form of payment that was used to make the initial purchase. If you would like a replacement, this will be to your original Products specification as detailed on your original order.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Celtic's maximum liability to You arising by reason of or in connection with the supply of the Product(s) to You shall be limited to the amount paid by You in respect of the Product(s) in question.
Celtic shall not in any event be liable to You for any loss of profits, business or anticipated savings or loss of or corruption of data or any indirect loss that You suffer from circumstances that Celtic could not have reasonably anticipated when you ordered the Product(s) or Replica Product(s) whatsoever even if it has been advised of the possibility of such loss. This does not affect Your statutory rights as a consumer.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or limit the liability of Celtic for death or personal injury due to its negligence or fraud. This does not affect Your statutory rights as a consumer.
No waiver by us shall be construed as a waiver of any rights or remedies under these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of Scotland. The Scottish courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute that arises out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions.
