    Safeguarding Stewards – Match days

    Safeguarding Stewards Required to Work at Celtic Park on Match Days

    Celtic Football Club are looking to recruit staff, on a casual basis, as designated Safeguarding Stewards to work at Celtic Park on match days.

    This is a responsible and specialised role within the stewarding operation, with a focus on the safety and wellbeing of children and vulnerable adults.

    Full training will be provided and an enhanced rate of pay will apply. PVG scheme membership will be required which will be fully funded by the Club.

    Duties include:

    • Assisting children who become separated from their guardian
    • Liaising with the police and Celtic’s Safeguarding Manager as appropriate
    • Checking Tickets
    • Answering questions from spectators
    • Assisting people to their seats
    • General stewarding duties

    Website & Digital Marketing Executive

    Celtic Football Club has an exciting opportunity for a Website & Digital Marketing Executive to join our Digital Marketing team. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, proactive individual who is keen to develop their career in digital with a global brand.  Reporting to the Head of Digital Marketing, the Website & Digital Marketing Executive will play a key role in building the Club’s digital footprint.

    Key accountabilities:

    • Day-to-day maintenance of Club websites and digital applications.
    • Co-ordinate the ongoing development of the official Club website; focusing on user experience and optimisation of site structure and content.
    • Track web traffic behaviour and make relevant improvements to increase performance.
    • Work closely with the wider marketing and multimedia teams to deliver digital elements of marketing campaigns.
    • Identify data capture opportunities across all digital platforms.
    • Utilise CRM data to deliver personalised fan experiences.
    • Identify innovative approaches to build fan engagement through digital channels, focusing on driving brand affinity and purchase.
    • Evaluate new trends and technologies to keep the Club at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.
    • Maintain effective working relationships with internal personnel and external agency partners.

     

    Skills and Experience required:

    Experience:

    • 2+ years of proven work experience in a similar role.
    • Hands on experience with web design, HTML, CSS and content management systems.
    • Solid knowledge of web analytics tools like Google Analytics.
    • Demonstrable experience in SEO best practice, email, data capture and digital advertising.
    • Preferable experience in implementing Google platform and Adwords optimisation.

     

    Skills:

    • Highly organised and enthusiastic team player.
    • Capable of owning projects from specification to delivery and evaluation.
    • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

    Multi Media Executive

    (Fixed Term 12 months, 37.5 hours per week)

    We are currently recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic Multi Media Executive to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will be integral in developing and managing Celtic FC Foundation’s media including; writing, filming and editing content along with the management of our social media platforms.

     

    Key accountabilities:

    • To work as part of the wider team to create high value content for all Foundation media channels relating to Events and Projects
    • To lead in the provision of content creation for Foundation PR communications
    • To manage all day-to-day photography, filming and editing of Foundation Events and Projects -  onsite and offsite
    • To prepare materials for internal and external audiences
    • To attend the weekly editorial meeting
    • To assume responsibility for archiving all Foundation photographs and video footage
    • To effectively develop, manage, co-ordinate and deploy all day to day social media channels
    • To develop the Foundation’s existing social media channels to incorporate new trends and technologies
    • To execute the social media strategy, ensuring effective two-way engagement between the Foundation and supporters

    Skills & Experience Required:

    The successful candidate will have excellent creative writing skills with a minimum of two years’ editing experience within a similar position, with a proven track record available. A show-reel and written piece will be required at interview stage. Experience working on digital/social platforms, excellent camera and editing skills and the ability to work well under pressure is key to this role.  A sound knowledge of Final Cut Pro X editing and Photoshop is essential and interviewees will be asked edit a short piece at interview stage. Excellent attention to detail and a sound confidence in verbal communication is essential. Candidates must have a full clean UK driving license and valid passport with flexibility for UK and overseas travel.

    E-Commerce Warehouse Operatives

    Celtic Football Club are looking to recruit warehouse operatives on a casual basis to support the in-house operation of the Celtic online store during the next few months with picking, packing and dispatch of orders.

    Duties will include processing pick lists, ensuring accurate packing of customer orders and preparation of completed orders for dispatch through couriers.

    Finance Administrator

    (1 year fixed term, 30 hours per week)

    Celtic FC Foundation is currently seeking a Finance Administrator to provide comprehensive financial support to the office manager.  The role will also assist Celtic FC Foundation’s wider team with general administrative and operational duties.

    Key accountabilities will include:

    • Processing journal entries using Navision
    • Provide general finance support including processing invoices in line with purchasing requirements
    • Providing event support including online fundraising updates e.g. MyDonate, Paypal
    • Monitoring and tracking participant fundraising for events and match ticket fulfilment
    • Supporting projects and initiatives such as the Christmas appeal, Cash Count project, Foodbank collections and anniversary lunches
    • Providing general administration support including preparing letters, dealing with phone and email queries, posting tickets, data input
    • Support with the management of Celtic FC Foundation’s email and eBay accounts
    • Manage internal bookings ensuring catering and security requirements are covered
    • Manage In kind donations
    • Support the wider team with other ad hoc duties              

     

    Skills and Experience required:

    • Minimum 2 years experience in an accounts administrator role
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft packages – proficient in excel

    Public Relations Officer

    (Full-time)

    Celtic Football Club is currently seeking a Public Relations Officer to support the Public Relations department across a wide range of Administrative, Communications, PR, Media and Supporter activities.   Reporting to the Communications Manager, the role will be key in ensuring the effective running of the Public Relations Department and positive promotion of the Club. 

     

    Key accountabilities will include:

    • Management of the Club’s media accreditation system
    • Management of guest ticketing processes
    • Providing match day PR support and organisation, including facilitating media conferences and acting as guest and media liaison
    • Acting as first point of contact for and responding to general media enquiries
    • Acting as first point of contact for and responding to supporter enquiries
    • General Administration duties as required
    • Providing PR support across a variety of Club events
    • Supporting media and publicity activities across various club functions
    • Assisting in the promotion of the activities of Celtic FC Foundation

     

    Skills and Experience required:

    The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

    • At least 3 years’ experience working in a demanding administrative environment
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Customer Services Operator

    Celtic Football Club is seeking experienced Customer Service Operators to work flexibly, as and when required (no guaranteed hours), to assist with the day to day operations of the Celtic Ticket Office, providing world-class customer service to Celtic supporters and stakeholders during our peak periods.

    Key Responsibilities

    • To provide high level customer service and resolve supporter enquiries through the Ticket Office counter and telephone line
    • To process home match, away match and season ticket sales
    • To process payments and follow all daily banking procedures
    • To use the provided ticketing system to ensure accurate supporter records are maintained
    • To Print fulfil and post home and away match tickets
    • To adhere to the Ticket Office Policies and Procedures at all times
    • To assist in any area of Ticket Office operations as requested by the Ticket Office Operations Manager

    First Aid Stewards Required to Work at Celtic Park on Match Days

    We are looking to recruit staff on a casual basis as designated First Aid Stewards at Celtic Park on match days.

    This is a responsible and specialised role within the stewarding operation, with a focus on the health, safety and wellbeing of both children and adults.

    All stewards are eligible for additional benefits such as discounts in our superstore.

    A HSE First Aid at Work certificate must be obtained by the individual prior to work commencing. Other basic training will be provided.

    Duties include:

    • Assisting those indeed who may be injured or unwell.
    • Liaising with the full First Aid team as appropriate.

    Experienced Chefs to work at Celtic Park on match days

    We are looking to recruit qualified, experienced chefs to work on a casual basis, within the hospitality operation, at Celtic Park, on match days.

    Reporting to the Head/Sous Chef, this role will entail all aspects of food preparation and food services during match days. Rates of pay are competitive and a typical shift on a match day would be 8am – 4pm

    Key accountabilities:

    • To prepare, cook and deliver food to the highest standard, in line with Chef’s menu and/or service brief
    • To keep kitchen areas clean and tidy, highlighting any maintenance issues or potential hazards to the Head/Sous Chef
    • To have an understanding of all kitchen procedures, food safety paperwork and the recording of wastage
    • To be passionate about food and maintain the highest company standards
    • To ensure customer satisfaction at all times

    Work Experience & Internships

    Unfortunately we are unable to accept any more work experience or internship placements at present as we are now fully committed for the next 12 months.

    Celtic offers a rewarding and comprehensive week-long Work Experience programme for school pupils aged 14-15. This provides placements in five different areas of the business during the course of a week. These typically include the Ticket Office, Superstore, Pools, Hospitality and Visitor Centre. Very occasionally we may be able to accommodate pupils on a specific department of their choice, such as Multi Media or Finance.

    Celtic also receives numerous enquiries about longer-term placements and internships, paid and unpaid. Regrettably, we generally do not have the resources to be able to offer this kind of programme.
