    Licensing and Project Coordinator

    (permanent, full time)

    Celtic Football Club requires a Licensing and Project Coordinator.  Working within the retail department, the role will be responsible for management of licensing and all merchandise projects.  The role requires flexibility and may involve occasional travel to suppliers/licensees/trade fairs/launch events.

    Key accountabilities:

    • Managing license /supplier process from initial meeting to signed agreement.
    • Ensure licensees issue quarterly reports and liaise with finance to ensure royalties are up to date.
    • Provide updates and reporting to merchandise manager, ensuing required approvals are in place.
    • Ensure licensees comply with legislation and Company policies and procedures.
    • Investigate and progress new license opportunities.
    • Work with Merchandise Manager on all relevant projects including DVDs, Books, Art, CDs and ensure all permissions and approvals with UEFA/SFA/SPFL etc. are cleared and recorded.
    • Work with marketing to ensure all sleeve/cover designs are in line with requirements.
    • Work with Multimedia on the completion and checking of all DVDs, Books and publications.
    • Work with publisher/replication plant on production planning.
    • Ensure all photographs used have been cleared and logged regarding copyright issues.
    • Manage wholesale business and ensure all invoicing complete and weekly stock reconciliation.

     

    Experience and attributes required:

    • At least two years’ experience in a comparable retail/buying office role.
    • Able to work on own initiative, and excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong IT skills, particularly conversant with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Experience prioritising a varied workload.

    Physiotherapists (Part-Time)

    Celtic Football Club are looking to recruit self-employed Physiotherapists to assist the Club’s Academy Medical team on an ad-hoc basis, providing care for U11 to U16 age groups including pitch side first aid assistance.

    Typical requirements could include physiotherapy assessment and treatment and documenting as appropriate to HCPC standard, highlighting player injuries to the medical team.

    The successful candidate will have the following essential qualifications/registrations:

    • BSc Hons / MSc Physiotherapy
    • HCPC registered
    • CSP registered
    • National Sports First Aid certificate or equivalent
    • Full UK Driving license

     

    The successful candidate will be able to work well within both the Celtic FC Academy team and more specifically the Academy Medical Department to provide a safe and positive environment for our young players to develop. The candidate must also be able to demonstrate that they can work independently and show good clinical reasoning when assessing and providing treatment for young players. They will have good communication skills, as this will form a vital aspect of the role in regards to discussions with the Head Academy Physiotherapist and the appropriate age group coaching staff. Previous experience working within football or professional sport would be desirable but is not essential for this role. Furthermore, due to the location of the Celtic FC Training Centre use of your own car would also be desirable.

    Customer Services Operator

    Celtic Football Club is seeking experienced Customer Service Operators to work flexibly, as and when required (no guaranteed hours), to assist with the day to day operations of the Celtic Ticket Office, providing world-class customer service to Celtic supporters and stakeholders during our peak periods.

    Key Responsibilities

    • To provide high level customer service and resolve supporter enquiries through the Ticket Office counter and telephone line
    • To process home match, away match and season ticket sales
    • To process payments and follow all daily banking procedures
    • To use the provided ticketing system to ensure accurate supporter records are maintained
    • To Print fulfil and post home and away match tickets
    • To adhere to the Ticket Office Policies and Procedures at all times
    • To assist in any area of Ticket Office operations as requested by the Ticket Office Operations Manager

    Skills & Experience Required:

    • Previous experience in a customer service role
    • Previous experience in ticket sales/administration
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    • Able to work individually and as part of a team

    First Aid Stewards Required to Work at Celtic Park on Match Days

    We are looking to recruit staff on a casual basis as designated First Aid Stewards at Celtic Park on match days.

    This is a responsible and specialised role within the stewarding operation, with a focus on the health, safety and wellbeing of both children and adults.

    All stewards are eligible for additional benefits such as discounts in our superstore.

    A HSE First Aid at Work certificate must be obtained by the individual prior to work commencing. Other basic training will be provided.

    Duties include:

    • Assisting those indeed who may be injured or unwell.
    • Liaising with the full First Aid team as appropriate.
    • Checking Tickets
    • Answering questions from spectators
    • Helping people to their seats
    • General stewarding duties

    Experienced Chefs to work at Celtic Park on match days

    We are looking to recruit qualified, experienced chefs to work on a casual basis, within the hospitality operation, at Celtic Park, on match days.

    Reporting to the Head/Sous Chef, this role will entail all aspects of food preparation and food services during match days. Rates of pay are competitive and a typical shift on a match day would be 8am – 4pm

    Key accountabilities:

    • To prepare, cook and deliver food to the highest standard, in line with Chef’s menu and/or service brief
    • To keep kitchen areas clean and tidy, highlighting any maintenance issues or potential hazards to the Head/Sous Chef
    • To have an understanding of all kitchen procedures, food safety paperwork and the recording of wastage
    • To be passionate about food and maintain the highest company standards
    • To ensure customer satisfaction at all times

    Experience and Skills

    Essential:

    • City & guilds 706/1&2 or SVQ level equivalent
    • Current  food safety level 2 certificate (minimum level required)

    Work Experience & Internships

    Unfortunately we are unable to accept any more work experience or internship placements at present as we are now fully committed for the next 12 months.

    Celtic offers a rewarding and comprehensive week-long Work Experience programme for school pupils aged 14-15. This provides placements in five different areas of the business during the course of a week. These typically include the Ticket Office, Superstore, Pools, Hospitality and Visitor Centre. Very occasionally we may be able to accommodate pupils on a specific department of their choice, such as Multi Media or Finance.

    Celtic also receives numerous enquiries about longer-term placements and internships, paid and unpaid. Regrettably, we generally do not have the resources to be able to offer this kind of programme.
