    Customer Service Operator

    (full time, permanent, 5 days from 7)

    Celtic Football Club is seeking an experienced Customer Service Operator, to assist with the day-to-day operations of the Celtic Ticket Office, providing world-class customer service to Celtic supporters and stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities

    • To provide high level customer service and resolve supporter enquiries through the Ticket Office counter and telephone line
    • To process home match, away match and season ticket sales
    • To process payments and follow all daily banking procedures
    • To use the provided ticketing system to ensure accurate supporter records are maintained
    • To Print fulfil and post home and away match tickets
    • To adhere to the Ticket Office Policies and Procedures at all times
    • To assist in any area of Ticket Office operations as requested by the Ticket Office Operations Manager

    Skills & Experience Required:

     

    • Previous experience in a customer service role

    Security Guard   

    (Permanent, 37.5 hours per week)

    Reporting to the Security and Events Manager, the Operations Department, at Celtic Park Glasgow, is currently recruiting for a Security Guard to be based at our Lennoxtown Training Centre.

    Key Accountabilities:

    • To provide a comprehensive reception service for staff, visitors, trades people and emergency services welcoming and assisting them as and when required.
    • To undertake periodic patrols to check and ensure that rooms and buildings are secure, both within, and outside normal office hours, using radio communications as necessary and analysing logs/documentation as directed.
    • To operate and monitor all systems within the Security Office in an efficient manner ensuring that all work is undertaken in compliance with the operating procedures, legislation and the codes of practice.
    • To ensure all incidents are accurately logged onto a database and to record all events and actions taken in a clear, legible and accurate written format.
    • To provide an efficient and courteous radio and telephone answering service.
    • To deal efficiently with all enquiries.
    • To cover both day shift(s) and night shift(s) on a rotational basis.

    Skills & Experience:

    The preferred candidate will be confident, have previous Front of House experience and will hold an SIA Door Supervision/Security Guarding Licence and SIA CCTV Licence. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written are essential to this post. The successful candidate will be flexible to support the business as and when required.The post holder will be able to demonstrate a strong successful track record of people and project management and have an enthusiasm for working with people from a variety of backgrounds, in particular moving those most disadvantaged in society into positive destinations, including, training and employment. Strong Employability, IT skills and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential, as is a full UK driving licence and the ability to work evenings and weekends as required.  Experience of working in a football or sports environment is desirable.

    Cleaning Operative

    (Part time, permanent, 15 hours per week, Flexible Mon-Sun)

    Celtic Football Club are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Operative based at Lennoxtown. Reporting to the Cleaning Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for completing a variety of daily tasks and will play a key role in efficient operation currently running at the Training Facility.

    Key Responsibilities

    • To complete in full daily tasks as instructed by the Cleaning Supervisor
    • To provide a clean and hygienic work environment
    • To ensure that areas are cleaned to the highest standards at all times
    • To maintain Health and Safety standards at all times
    • To ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly
    • To deal with any adhoc requests promptly and courteously
    • To ensure cleaning fluids are used correctly
    • To adhere to PPE
    • To sign off daily checklists and provide to management
    • To undertake training as required

    Major Donors Manager

    (part-time, Glasgow)

    Celtic FC Foundation is currently looking to recruit a part time Major Donors Manager.  Supporting existing organisational revenue streams and reporting to the Head of Income, the role is responsible for income generation from a range of key areas.

    This is a part time role on a job share basis and requires a flexible approach to working hours, with evening and weekend working required from time to time. 

    Key accountabilities will include:

    • Identify new business opportunities, working as part of an established Income generation team;
    • Manage, develop and grow the regular giving ‘Founders Club’ initiative through recruiting new members and nurturing existing relationships;
    • Identify project investment and other opportunities for major donors and deliver successful and engaging pitches to secure new and repeat investment;
    • Develop and nurture these new and existing relationships;
    • Expand and develop our Legacy Giving funding stream and secure further commitments;
    • Define appropriate contacts and secure support in respect of ‘charity of the year’;
    • In consultation with the Head of Income, secure support from major donors for the annual Christmas Appeal;
    • Record, monitor and report on all major donors revenue and expenditure streams;
    • Provide copy-writing for PR/Editorial and details for social media outlets, as and when requested by the Line Manager; and
    • Represent Celtic FC Foundation at events and fundraising opportunities as required by Line Manager.

    Skills and Experience required:

    Applicants should have at least five years’ demonstrable experience of working in a sales/business development background in commerce or a third sector environment, with at least two of those years at a management level.

    The successful candidate will be well-networked and have proven experience with major donors/HNWs/corporate organisations. They will have demonstrable experience of selling, influencing and managing negotiations at a senior level and will possess excellent interpersonal, organisational and written skills.

    Applicants should have a sound knowledge of the football club and its history and charitable roots.

    A full driving licence is required for the role.

    First Aid Stewards Required to Work at Celtic Park on Match Days

    We are looking to recruit staff on a casual basis as designated First Aid Stewards at Celtic Park on match days.

    This is a responsible and specialised role within the stewarding operation, with a focus on the health, safety and wellbeing of both children and adults.

    All stewards are eligible for additional benefits such as discounts in our superstore.

    A HSE First Aid at Work certificate must be obtained by the individual prior to work commencing. Other basic training will be provided.

    Duties include:

    • Assisting those indeed who may be injured or unwell.
    • Liaising with the full First Aid team as appropriate.

    • Answering questions from spectators
    • Helping people to their seats
    • General stewarding duties

    Experienced Chefs to work at Celtic Park on match days

    We are looking to recruit qualified, experienced chefs to work on a casual basis, within the hospitality operation, at Celtic Park, on match days.

    Reporting to the Head/Sous Chef, this role will entail all aspects of food preparation and food services during match days. Rates of pay are competitive and a typical shift on a match day would be 8am – 4pm

    Key accountabilities:

    • To prepare, cook and deliver food to the highest standard, in line with Chef’s menu and/or service brief
    • To keep kitchen areas clean and tidy, highlighting any maintenance issues or potential hazards to the Head/Sous Chef
    • To have an understanding of all kitchen procedures, food safety paperwork and the recording of wastage
    • To be passionate about food and maintain the highest company standards
    • To ensure customer satisfaction at all times

    Work Experience & Internships

    Unfortunately we are unable to accept any more work experience or internship placements at present as we are now fully committed for the next 12 months.

    Celtic offers a rewarding and comprehensive week-long Work Experience programme for school pupils aged 14-15. This provides placements in five different areas of the business during the course of a week. These typically include the Ticket Office, Superstore, Pools, Hospitality and Visitor Centre. Very occasionally we may be able to accommodate pupils on a specific department of their choice, such as Multi Media or Finance.

    Celtic also receives numerous enquiries about longer-term placements and internships, paid and unpaid. Regrettably, we generally do not have the resources to be able to offer this kind of programme.
