    Allocator

    (Maternity Cover – 12 months, full time)

    Celtic Football Club requires an experienced Allocator. Working within the retail department, the role is responsible for the allocation of stock to our online and retail stores across Scotland and Ireland, in line with range plans, accurately and within deadlines. The successful candidate will also provide administrative support for the buyer.

    Key accountabilities:

    • To set and maintain minimums on each product line to ensure the correct level of replenishment is sent to stores ensuring correct replenishment levels are maintained.
    • Provide support to Merchandiser producing reports and analysis, as and when required.
    • Maximise sales potential within each branch by reducing over/under stock levels.
    • Effectively respond to store enquiries.
    • Ensure the smooth running of the critical path throughout the buying process.


    Experience and attributes required:

    • The successful candidate should ideally have at least one years’ experience in a similar role.
    • Excellent attention to detail.
    • Excellent numeracy skills.
    • Strong IT skills, particularly conversant with Excel.
    • Experience prioritising a varied workload.

    Temporary Team Leader

    (Temporary, full time)

    Celtic Football Club are looking to recruit a Team Leader on a temporary basis to support our Airport store from September 2018 to February 2019.

    Sales Assistant

    Head Academy Physiotherapist

    (Full-Time)

    Celtic Football Club is looking to recruit a full time Physiotherapist to fulfill the role of Head Academy Physiotherapist.

    The role will involve being the clinical lead for our full-time professional Under 18 squad, whilst being responsible for the management of the Academy Physiotherapist’s to ensure all games, clinic’s and tournaments within the Junior and Intermediate Academy are covered in line with the Project Brave criteria. Clinical input and guidance to Academy Physiotherapist’s on assessment, rehabilitation and return to play protocols will be expected.

    The successful candidate will ensure high standards of medical care are provided to all Academy players and trialists as directed by the Head of Academy Football Science and Medicine and the Head of Medical Services. The candidate will provide excellent standards of assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of all injuries within the Academy and liaise with the Head of Academy Football Science and Medicine with regards to the treatment of Academy players.

    Responsibilities will include:

    • To fully document injuries and maintain confidentiality in accordance with governing body and club guidelines, ensuring all Academy Physiotherapist’s attain these same standards
    • To help maintain records of maturation and well-being, as well as training and match statistics for Academy players as outlined in the Project Brave criteria
    • To work in conjunction with relevant staff within the Sports Science and Medical team, to complete phase specific profiling and assessments, using the information gathered to generate and implement injury prevention programmes to be carried out during the season.

    The successful candidate will have the following essential qualifications/registrations:

    • BSc Hons / MSc Physiotherapy
    • HCPC registere
    • CSP registered
    • Sports Promote or equivalent pitch side trauma course
    • At least 10 years’ experience of working in Professional Football
    • Full UK Driving license

    This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with the organisational skills and attention to detail, to maintain an efficient working Academy and for someone who is specifically interested in and will be fully committed to our young professional football players.

    International Soccer Academy Manager

    (full-time)

    As a manager of Celtic Football Club’s International Soccer Academy operation within our commercial department, this is an important managerial role responsible for driving incremental revenue from and building new international club partnerships.

    Key accountabilities:

    • To identify, present to and secure new clubs into the Celtic Club Partnership programme.
    • To manage and ensure first class delivery of key commercial components of club partnership agreements including, overseas coaching camps, team tours, kit sales, international coaches’ convention etc.
    • To manage and deliver key activation components of club partnership agreements including, marketing responsibilities, access to any assets, branding etc.
    • To manage all logistics required for the successful delivery of the club partnership programme including staffing, travel etc.
    • To ensure commercial viability of soccer academy programmes.
    • To grow and maximise international soccer academy revenues.
    • To maintain all records of activity and provide timeous reports as required.

     

    Experience and attributes required:

    • Sound awareness of Celtic’s international soccer academy operation.
    • B-Licence Scottish FA or equivalent.
    • Background or experience with coach education.
    • Awareness of financial planning and budgetary control processes.
    • Experienced people manager with strong interpersonal skills.
    • Proven track record in international business development.
    • Complete understanding of the business development process.

    Celtic FC Academy Host Parent

    Celtic Football Club is currently seeking Host Parents to support the Youth Academy, to board and provide support for Academy Players between the ages of 11-18 years. The Club is looking for friendly and supportive Host Parents to encourage and provide a stable environment for Academy Players from different backgrounds. Both challenging and supportive, the ideal candidate will understand the importance of child welfare and protection, and will have the necessary time available to support the young Player in their care.

    Please note priority will be given to applications from East Dunbartonshire due to close proximity to Lennoxtown training facilities and Player’s schools. It would also be the Club’s preference that the young Player will have their own separate bedroom, shower facilities and access to a social area within the home.

    Host Parent and Accommodation Requirements

    • To nurture and support the young Player in their care, while maintaining a professional relationship
    • To follow dietary guidelines for the young Player provided by Academy staff at the Club
    • To respect the privacy of young Players and ensure that they have their own space
    • To report any concerns for the young Player’s wellbeing of safety to the Safeguarding Manager
    • To regularly attend SFA Child and Wellbeing training, First Aid training and group meetings

    Essential Skills and Experience

    • Previous experience providing welfare and wellbeing support to young people
    • Previous or existing experience working in Education or within the Care sector
    • Knowledge of UK legislation relating to the welfare of young people and Child Protection
    • Experience in counselling and/or mental health support

    Multi Media Reporter

    (Permanent, full time)

    Celtic Football Club is seeking a highly-motivated, multi-media reporter. As a member of our Multi Media team, you will provide interview material, match reports, special features and other copy/content as required for the Celtic View, match day programme, websites, social media channels and any other Club publication, channel, product or event.

    As a multi-platform club we want to build on our success by ensuring our content is innovative, relevant and engaging, available wherever and whenever our audience wants it.

    You’ll be dynamic and self-motivated with excellent editorial judgement, a passion for football, a great capacity for ideas and demonstrate an extensive knowledge of the Celtic story.

    Skills & Experience Required:

    Multi Media Executive

    (Fixed Term 12 months, 37.5 hours per week)

    We are currently recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic Multi Media Executive to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will be integral in developing and managing Celtic FC Foundation’s media including; writing, filming and editing content along with the management of all our social media platforms.

     

    Key accountabilities:

    • To work as part of the wider team to create high value content for all Foundation media channels relating to Events and Projects
    • To lead in the provision of content creation for Foundation PR communications
    • To manage all day-to-day photography, filming and editing of Foundation Events and Projects -  onsite and offsite
    • To prepare materials for internal and external audiences
    • To attend the weekly editorial meeting
    • To assume responsibility for archiving all Foundation photographs and video footage
    • To effectively develop, manage, co-ordinate and deploy all day to day social media channels
    • To develop the Foundation’s existing social media channels to incorporate new trends and technologies
    • To execute the social media strategy, ensuring effective two-way engagement between the Foundation and supporters

    Skills & Experience Required:

    The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years’ editing experience within a similar position, with a proven track record available. Experience working on digital/social platforms, excellent camera and editing skills and the ability to work well under pressure is key to this role.  A sound knowledge of Final Cut Pro X editing and Photoshop is essential and interviewees will be asked edit a short piece at interview stage. Excellent attention to detail, demonstrable written skills and a sound confidence in verbal communication is essential. Candidates must have a full clean UK driving license and valid passport with flexibility for UK and overseas travel.

    Customer Services Operator

    Celtic Football Club is seeking experienced Customer Service Operators to work flexibly, as and when required, to assist with the day to day operations of the Celtic Ticket Office, providing world-class customer service to Celtic supporters and stakeholders during our peak periods.

    Key Responsibilities

    • To provide high level customer service and resolve supporter enquiries through the Ticket Office counter and telephone line
    • To process home match, away match and season ticket sales
    • To process payments and follow all daily banking procedures
    • To use the provided ticketing system to ensure accurate supporter records are maintained
    • To Print fulfil and post home and away match tickets
    • To adhere to the Ticket Office Policies and Procedures at all times
    • To assist in any area of Ticket Office operations as requested by the Ticket Office Operations Manager

    First Aid Stewards Required to Work at Celtic Park on Match Days

    We are looking to recruit staff on a casual basis as designated First Aid Stewards at Celtic Park on match days.

    This is a responsible and specialised role within the stewarding operation, with a focus on the health, safety and wellbeing of both children and adults.

    All stewards are eligible for additional benefits such as discounts in our superstore.

    A HSE First Aid at Work certificate must be obtained by the individual prior to work commencing. Other basic training will be provided.

    Duties include:

    • Assisting those indeed who may be injured or unwell.
    • Liaising with the full First Aid team as appropriate.
    • Checking Tickets
    • Answering questions from spectators
    • Helping people to their seats
    • General stewarding duties

    Experienced Chefs to work at Celtic Park on match days

    We are looking to recruit qualified, experienced chefs to work on a casual basis, within the hospitality operation, at Celtic Park, on match days.

    Reporting to the Head/Sous Chef, this role will entail all aspects of food preparation and food services during match days. Rates of pay are competitive and a typical shift on a match day would be 8am – 4pm

    Key accountabilities:

    • To prepare, cook and deliver food to the highest standard, in line with Chef’s menu and/or service brief
    • To keep kitchen areas clean and tidy, highlighting any maintenance issues or potential hazards to the Head/Sous Chef
    • To have an understanding of all kitchen procedures, food safety paperwork and the recording of wastage
    • To be passionate about food and maintain the highest company standards
    • To ensure customer satisfaction at all times

    Work Experience & Internships

    Unfortunately we are unable to accept any more work experience or internship placements at present as we are now fully committed for the next 12 months.

    Celtic offers a rewarding and comprehensive week-long Work Experience programme for school pupils aged 14-15. This provides placements in five different areas of the business during the course of a week. These typically include the Ticket Office, Superstore, Pools, Hospitality and Visitor Centre. Very occasionally we may be able to accommodate pupils on a specific department of their choice, such as Multi Media or Finance.

    Celtic also receives numerous enquiries about longer-term placements and internships, paid and unpaid. Regrettably, we generally do not have the resources to be able to offer this kind of programme.
