Rogne: Killie will be a tough test at Paradise

HAVING endured mixed fortunes against Kilmarnock last season, Thomas Rogne knows Celtic face a tough test in their quest for full points at the weekend.
The defender sampled the agony of defeat in the League Cup final against the Ayrshire outfit and also experienced the joy of clinching the title at Rugby Park several weeks later.
And the former result is a painful reminder to the Norwegian of the need to for the Hoops to perform at their peak when the Rugby Park side visit Paradise on Saturday.
"Kilmarnock are a good side with some good players and play some good football as well," he said.
"We had mixed experiences against them last season but if we play as well as we can, we should win. But there are no easy games in the SPL. They are always tough so we need to be really up for it."
Hot on the heels of Tuesday´s UEFA Champions League tie in Barcelona will add to the difficulty.
"That´s one of the challenges as the Champions League nights are always very special for the fans, players and everyone," said Rogne.
"So it´s hard sometimes to go from there and into domestic games but I think we showed against Hearts in the last game that we can deal with it.
"We had a great result in Russia and played a good game against Hearts and got the win we needed so we just have to stay focused on the next game as that is always the most important one."
You can be at Paradise to cheer on the Champions as they bid for three points to retain their place at the top of the SPL table.
