Celtic win the toss, take the kick off and launch the ball forward, where it is collected by McGregor, punted up the park and goes out for a Celtic by-kick.

Good challenge by McManus halts the sprint of Darcheville down the left flank.

Stephen McManus caught by a rash challenge by Darchville. Dougal has a word with the Rangers striker.

Aiden McGeady gets away from Dailly and Broadfoot, delivering a cross to the near post where it is side-footed narrowly wide by Vennegoor of Hesselink.

Free kick from Rangers, Thomson sends ball to back post. McCulloch beats Naylor, wins free header, sends it spinning past Boruc's ppost.

McCulloch concedes free kick 28 yards out. Hartley lays it off to Nakamura whose free kick is collected by McGregor.

Samaras cuts in a cross to Vennegoor of Hesselink who is tackled by Weir. Rangers countered quickly, Darcheville wins a corner from Hinkel. Celtic then retaliate from the corner, with McGeady robbed of the ball by Davis.

McCulloch sends another free header wide after Hinkel and Caldwell fail to challenge.

Great turn from Davis before he delivers ball into six yard box. McManus clears.

Good build up by Celtic, starting on the left and going right through the midfield. Ends with Nakamura's chip into the box being collected by McGregor.

Nakamura and Vennegoor of Hesselink link-up with the Dutchman sliding in to win the ball and set up Samaras. The Greek fires a shot straight at McGregor from 25 yards out.

Samaras sets up Brown with a nice through ball. Midfielder breaks forward and is closed down by the keeper and defender. Ball then looks to have gone out for a corner. Linesman awards a kick out, Vennegoor complains and is immediately shown a yellow card by referee, Stuart Dougal. Poor decision by the official.

McGeady wins a corner off Broadfoot. Nakamura takes and McManus's header flashes inches wide of the post.

Good breakaway by Celtic, with Samaras holding up play. Ball played out to McGeady who skins Broadfoot but sees his cross collected by McGregor.

Scott Brown hits the post after a header by Samaras. Great attempt by midfielder. His run carries him off the park behind the hoardings where a fan attempts to hit him with a drink carton.

Darcheville and Hartley spoken to after a head to head.

Referee enrages the Rangers supporters, ignoring a strong challenge by McGeady on Broadfoot and awarding a free kick for a later foul on the Cel;tic winger.

McManus clears a goalbound shot after Boruc misses the ball. Boruc then collects Ferguson's resulting shot.

Header down by Vennegoor almost finds Brown. Ball caught up under his feet, ten yards from goal.

Another chance for Celtic, but Rangers counter and Kevin Thomson steals in behind the defence where, from an acute angle, slots the ball into the corner of the net. 1-0 Rangers.

Celtic attempt to counter with Naka's shot blocked and Hinkel's attempt sailing over the bar.

HALF TIME - RANGERS 1 CELTIC 0

SECOND HALF - Rangers kick off, break down the right and concede a by-kick.

Free kick Celtic. Nakamura delivers from 35 yards, Vennegoor header straight at McGregor.
