PREVIEW: CELTIC manager Gordon Strachan has handed starts to Evander Sno, Darren O’Dea and Jiri Jarosik for today’s SPL match against Rangers at Ibrox. Scott Brown has won his fitness battle and takes his usual place in midfield.

Great play from Brown and Nakamura gives McDonald space in the box. His volley is tipped past by McGregor.

Nakamura is fouled by Weir 30 yards from goal. The Japanese star slips as he steps up and his shot goes over the bar.

Adam fires a free-kick into the danger area, but Boruc gathers and releases Brown. He plays in Nakamura who finds McDonald. But the Aussie is offside.

Novo finds Adam on the edge of the box, but McManus produces a superb block.

McDonald is almost sent clear on the left flank. Hutton breaks upfield, but Caldwell foils Cousin.

McDonald and Brown combine but the midfielder is penalised for a foul on Hutton

Celtic keep possession well and switch play to the right flank. O'Dea's cross, however, is gathered by McGregor

McManus is penalised for a foul on McCulloch. Adam takes the free-kick but it sails over the bar

McDonald beats Weir at the edge of the box, but his shot from a tight angle is gathered by McGregor

McDonald, Nakamura and Jarosik forge an opening at the edge of the area, but Jarosik's shot is wide

Adam releases Novo on the left corner of the box. he jinks inside and fires over the bar

Celtic move possession from the right to left flank, but Naylor's cross is held by McGregor

Boruc saves Cousin's header easily

Celtic work their way up the left flank, but Naylor's cross is charged down by McCulloch. He gets another cross, but no-one is there to meet it

McManus and Cousin collide in a sickening clash of heads in the centre circle. The Rangers striker is okay, but the Hoops skipper is carried off on a stretcher. John Kennedy replaces McManus.

Four minutes of stoppage time are added on.

Half-time. Rangers 1 Celtic 0. Novo scored for the home side

Celtic kick-off the second half. There are no changes in either team from the end of the first period.

Jarosik is handed a glorious chance within seconds of the restart. Caldwell's chip lands at his feet, but his volley goes wide

McDonald is bizarrely flagged offside as Celtic start the second half positively

McDonald wins a foul 35 yards from goal. Nakamura's free-kick is cleared out to Caldwell, whose shot is parried by McGregor

McCulloch sends a volley high and wide for Rangers

McGeady is introduced for Nakamura

Donati finds Caldwell on the right side of the box, but Rangers clear

Naylor's cross causes danger in the Rangers box, but McGregor saves with McDonald ready to pounce

Celtic enjoy some pressure but Rangers break away and Kennedy has to block Novo's cross

McDonald wins a free-kick on the left, but McGregor comes out to claim

Caldwell picks out Donati in the box, but McGregor produces a point-blank save to deny the Italian

Sno shoots wide from long range
