    Liam Henderson joins Rosenborg on loan

  • LIAM Henderson has joined Norwegian side, Rosenborg, on loan until this summer. The 18-year-old midfielder, who has made 22 appearances for the Celtic first-team and scored two goals since making his debut last season, his relishing the new experience and joins the club on the final day of the Norwegian transfer window.

    Rosenborg manager, Kare Ingebrigtsen, has welcomed the move, describing the young Celt as “one of Scotland’s greatest talents and a very exciting player.”

    Ingebrigtsen spoke to Celtic boss, Ronny Deila, and midfielder Stefan Johansen, about the player, and added: “Liam has huge potential and both Ronny and Stefan speak very highly about him.

    “He is a young, ambitious, hard-working boy with a strong will to win and experience of playing in front of 60,000 spectators, so he knows what the pressure of expectation is.”

    Everyone at Celtic wishes Liam all the very best during his loan spell with Rosenborg.
