    Important travel information for Celtic fans heading to Rome

  • THE following information has been provided to Celtic by Lazio and the City of Rome police for the forthcoming UEFA Europa League match on Thursday, November 7 in the Olympic Stadium (KO: 6.55pm local time).

    The Chief of Rome Police welcomes Celtic fans to the city and wishes them a happy and safe stay. On the day of the match buses will be arranged for supporters to let them reach the Olympic Stadium easily.

    The service will be made available at Piazzale delle Canestre, where public transport shuttles will leave. Departures will start at 2pm. Celtic fans are reminded that in downtown areas, at Piazzale delle Canestre and in the streets neighboring the Olympic Stadium it is prohibited:

    - The sale (take away) of bottled beverages or beverages in glass containers with the exception of any food that comes exclusively in glass containers.

    - The carrying on public streets of bottles and glass containers (with the exception of any food that comes exclusively in glass containers).

    - Marching to the stadium is strictly prohibited.

    Transgressors will be subject to Police measures.

    If any problems arise during your stay in Rome please call 112 either from public telephone booths found throughout the city or by mobile phone.

    The gate reserved for Celtic FC supporters is exclusively the “DISTINTI SUD - Gate LATO SUD Monte Mario”
