Celtic make winter break plans for Dubai

By: Newsroom Staff on 12 Sep, 2019 18:19

  • Although early in the campaign, Celtic are already looking ahead to an important time in the season and have confirmed that the Club’s first-team squad will once again travel to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, during next year’s winter break.

It will be the Hoops’ fourth consecutive visit to Dubai, with the winter training programmes proving to be hugely beneficial in the club’s Treble Treble success.

As the Club did last year, the Scottish Champions will once again use the state-of-the-art Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex. The world class training facility has been a base to a wide range of elite teams and athletes, and has been recently used by European clubs such as Real Madrid, Manchester United and AC Milan.

Celtic Manager Neil Lennon said: “We know that Dubai has worked very well for us before over the past few years. It is somewhere that offers excellent facilities and delivers a really good training base at such an important time in the season, so we are delighted to be returning.”
