  • CELTIC are delighted to announce the signing of Jeremy Toljan from Borussia Dortmund on loan until the end of the season.

Jeremy, a right-back with a Borussia Dortmund team who currently sit top of the Bundesliga, is also an under-21 German internationalist. He previously spent nearly five years with Hoffenheim, during which time he played over 60 times for the club.

Joining Borussia Dortmund in August 2017, he made his debut in a German Cup tie away to Rot-Weiss Erfurt, and has made 23 appearances for the club, including four Champions League group-stage outings, while he has scored one goal, which came against Freiburg.

Speaking to the official Celtic website, Jeremy said: “This is an exciting move for me and I’m delighted to be joining a club like Celtic, which has a great reputation throughout Europe.

“I’m looking forward to meeting my new team-mates and working with the manager, and I’ll be doing everything I can to help the team to be successful in the remainder of this season.

"I can't wait to get started and give all I can for this great, iconic club."
