‘Sign for Celtic’ fans treated to special signing events

By: Newsroom Staff on 12 Dec, 2018 14:01

  • Lucky fans received a special Christmas treat last night as the Club staged two more exclusive events at Celtic Park. In the first event of the night, supporters were invited to an ‘Evening with Kieran Tierney and Callum McGregor’ to mark the launch of the new book ‘This Is How It Feels To Be Celtic’.

Kieran and Callum, two of the book’s contributors, were joined on stage by Martin Miller (Celtic U7s - U15s Youth Academy Manager) who played a key role helping them become the players they are today.

The trio shared memories of the Celtic stars’ rise through the Celtic Academy ranks on the road to being amongst the first names on Brendan Rodgers’ teamsheet.

In another other part of the stadium, Hoops stars Scott Bain, Mikael Lustig, Olivier Ntcham and Odsonne Edouard took time out of the team’s hectic December schedule to meet fans at the latest ‘Sign For Celtic’ signing session.

Shannen and an excited daughter Poppy were amongst the lucky fans invited along to Paradise for the exclusive signing session. Speaking after the event, Shannen said: “Poppy is obsessed with Celtic and makes sure I’m signed up to everything. It was lovely to surprise her with this before Christmas.”

Katie and Julie Neil from Glasgow were equally delighted to be able to meet the Bhoys: "We signed up because we love the club! It was such a brilliant evening and we're still so happy to meet the players."
