Former Celtic reserve player Graeme Morrison passes away

By: Newsroom Staff on 27 Sep, 2018 09:34

  • FORMER Celtic reserve player, Graeme Morrison sadly passed away on Tuesday night at the age of only 41-years-old after losing his battle with pancreatic cancer

The Falkirk-born centre-half, who joined on an ‘s’ form in 1991 was a regular in the youth and reserve sides of the club between signing as a professional in 1994 and leaving to join Tampere in Finland in 1999.

During Graeme’s time with Celtic, he also went on loan to Irish club, Dundalk where he made a handful of first-team league appearances.

He also played with Morton and Stirling Albion on his return from Finland.

The thoughts and prayers of everyone at Celtic Park are with Graeme’s family and friends at this sad time.
