Celtic listen to female fans and are first to introduce free facility

By: Newsroom Staff on 02 May, 2018 15:03

  • FEMALE fans attending matches at Celtic Park from August will be provided with free sanitary products making the Scottish champions the first club in the country to do so.

The club is delighted to lead the way after three supporters, Erin Slaven, Orlaith Duffy and Mikaela McKinlay approached us and highlighted their own concerns regarding the availability of basic female hygiene products.

We’d like to thank Erin, Orlaith and Mikaela for bringing this to our attention and putting their proposal together. We will continue to strive to make the matchday experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible for all of our supporters.

A Celtic spokesperson said: “We are pleased to support this trial, which we hope will be well received by our female supporters.”
