Marvin Compper makes his debut for Celtic against Morton

By: Newsroom Staff on 03 Mar, 2018 11:30

  • MARVIN Compper will make his Celtic debut in this afternoon’s Scottish Cup quarter-final tie against Morton.

The German internationalist signed for the Hoops during the January transfer window, and having recovered from an injury picked up during the winter training camp, he’s ready to play his part in the remainder of the campaign, starting today.

Compper's inclusion in the starting XI is the only change from the team which won at Pittodrie last weekend, with the Hoops’ hat-trick hero from the previous round of the Scottish Cup, James Forrest, aiming to play his part in the team's bid to reach the semi-final.

Kick-off at Celtic Park is 12.30pm. Head to @celticfc for all the pre-game build-up and match and live match updates.

CELTIC: De Vries; Ajer, Simunovic, Compper; Forrest, Brown, Ntcham, Tierney; Rogic, Sinclair; Dembele.
Subs: Bain, Roberts, Edouard, Lustig, McGregor, Musonda, Kouassi
