    Celtic Women Exsel with new two-year sponsorship deal

  • CELTIC Football Club is delighted to announce that the club's Women's team have hit the back of the net again by securing a new two-year front-of-shirt sponsorship deal with IT and Communications company, Exsel Group.  

    Exsel have been in place as team sponsor since the start of the 2016 season and after enjoying a great relationship with the club have teamed up again for the next two years to provide invaluable support to the team.  

    Celtic players Keeva Keenan and Ruesha Littlejohn today met up with Celtic's first-team goalkeeper, Dorus de Vries to launch the new deal which will provide important backing to their team as they look ahead to the next two seasons.

    Irish internationalist, Ruesha joined the Hoops in 2016, while Keeva is an Ireland youth internationalist at u17 and u19 level. She signed for Celtic in 2018 after previous spells with Glasgow City and Shelbourne.

    The Celtic Women's side start their season this Sunday, February 11 with a match against Rangers and manager, David Haley is delighted to be going into the new campaign with such strong support.

    He said: “We are delighted to have the continued support from Exsel Group for a further two years. We have already built a strong relationship with Exsel Group and we look forward to them playing an active role in the women's team development.

    “The partnership has continued to grow in the last few years and the dedication from Exsel Group to develop the women’s game within Celtic for a further two years is greatly appreciated by all at the club.”

    Founded in 2008, Exsel Group have grown to employ more than 40 people, with offices across Scotland. The company offers a whole range of IT and communications services to organisations of all sizes, to help business grow.

    A huge supporter of Celtic's women's team, Tom McDonald, Managaing Director of Exsel is delighted to continue to work with the club.

    He added: "We are delighted to continue our support of Celtic and pleased to be playing our part in the continued growth of women's football in Scotland. 

    “Already we have enjoyed an excellent partnership with the team and look forward to taking this forward. 

    “We have always recognised the common brand values shared by both Celtic and Exsel and we are pleased to continue such a positive relationship by making this new commitment.”
