Your Celtic v Motherwell matchday guide

By: Newsroom Staff on 01 Dec, 2017 16:44

  • LEAGUE action returns to Paradise this weekend, with the visit of Motherwell for the final match of this week's triple-header between the Bhoys and the Steelmen.

It’s a 3pm kick-off on Saturday (December 2) and, following the weekend's victory to retain the League Cup and a spirited fight-back at Fir Park in midweek, the champions will be aiming to extend their unbeaten domestic run to an incredible 67 matches.

Tickets are selling fast, but there’s still time to secure a seat at Paradise to see the Hoops as they continue to make history.

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the game:

    9:00am: Celtic Superstore opens

Visit the Superstore ahead of the game to stock up on your matchday essentials. You’ll find a fantastic range of Christmas gifts and stocking fillers in-store, with some great festive offers too, including 2 for £35 on a selection of Celtic t-shirts and polo-shirts.

    10:30am: Ticket Office opens

The Ticket Office will remain open until kick-off at 3:00pm for those looking to buy or collect tickets for the match. For those looking to plan ahead, tickets are also available to buy for Celtic’s December SPFL home games v Hamilton Accies (December 13), Partick Thistle (December 20) and Aberdeen (December 23).

    11:30am: Kerrydale Bar opens

With entry available on a first-come, first-served basis, the lounge and food court will be open for fans looking for something to eat or drink before kick-off. Liam McGrandles provides live entertainment with Chelsea v Newcastle, Sky Sports and classic Celtic moments on the big screen.

12pm: Celtic FC Foundation bucket collection on The Celtic Way

Celtic FC Foundation volunteers will hold their annual bucket collection, prior to the Motherwell match on Saturday. Give generously and Share the Spirit of Celtic this Christmas. The collection is an integral part of the Foundation’s 2017 Christmas Appeal which continues to make a difference to people’s lives at what can be a very difficult time of the year for many.

    1:30pm: Stadium opens

The Celtic Family Stand (Sections 115-117 of Lisbon Lions Lower) will have plenty of family fun for all ages with the team from Glasgow’s Science Centre hosting “Body Works On Tour” workshops, giving young fans the chance to take part in their exciting interactive exhibits and live science shows. There’s also an X-box games zone available,  plus Hoopy the Huddle Hound there to keep the young Hoops fans entertained pre-match.

Pick up your copy of the latest edition of the Celtic View pre-match, together with the Official Matchday Programme for a special combined price of just £5 (a saving of £1.45).

Don’t forget to buy your Paradise Windfall tickets to be in with a chance of becoming £10,000 richer. You could be collecting your prize out on the pitch at half-time, so look out for Windfall staff wearing their famous yellow jerseys ahead of the match.

3:00pm: Kick-off. Come on you Bhoys in green!

There’s still time to secure a seat for Celtic v Motherwell, and you can beat the matchday queues with tickets available to buy online* and print at home! Visit eticketing.co.uk/celtic.

Tickets are on sale priced from £27 for adults, from £17 for concessions and from £10 for under-13s and can also be purchased from the Ticket Office at Celtic Park, or via the sales line by calling 0871 226 1888*.
