Be joyful and triumphant this Christmas

By: Newsroom Staff on 24 Nov, 2017 10:05

  • IT'S the most magical time of the year and, with the countdown to Christmas well underway, Celtic are joining in the festive fun once again by releasing a short Christmas feature.

The film tells the story of three generations of the Maguire family, travelling home to spend the festive season together and unknowingly aided on their journey to Paradise by an array of Celtic stars.

Manager Brendan Rodgers, Captain Scott Brown and Player of the Year Scott Sinclair are among the many first-team stars showcasing their talents beyond the field of play. He’s Captained his Club, Captained his country and now in this fantastic film, high-flying Scott Brown is Captain of an aircraft, assisted by First Officer Stuart Armstrong.

They are ably assisted in delivering a safe landing by air stewards Scott Sinclair, Mikael Lustig and Celtic Women’s team captain, Kelly Clark.

Leigh Griffiths, a driving force behind much of last season’s success, has been promoted from his role as elf on the shelf in last year’s film, and has his hands firmly on the wheel as taxi driver - and other players including Kieran Tierney, Patrick Roberts and Moussa Dembele make sparkling, statuesque guest appearances.

And Brendan? ... Let’s just say his performance is just the ticket!

Fittingly, in this special Lisbon Lions 50th anniversary year, Lisbon Lion John Clark makes a special guest appearance and Celtic legend Danny McGrain, one of the finest Celtic players to grace the Hoops in our illustrious 130-year history, as ever, plays an assured role.

And finally, Craig Gordon once again saves the day as the Maguire family reach their final destination, joyful and triumphant, at Celtic Park.

Join in the festive fun this season and watch the new festive film now.

This new film features a great range of Christmas gift ideas for the festive season, all available now in-store and online at celticsuperstore.co.uk – better still, shop this weekend and save 20%, offer ends midnight on Sunday (November 26).

Celtic Football Club – bringing the faithful home for 130 years.

Be JOYFUL AND TRIUMPHANT this Christmas
