By: Newsroom Staff on 30 Jun, 2017 09:31

  • THE treble-winning Scottish champions make a welcome return to Celtic Park with French Ligue 1 side, Lyon the visitors for a friendly on Saturday, July 15.

The friendly will see the Bhoys back at Paradise for the first time since May’s trophy-winning celebrations and supporters are invited to cheer the champions home with this match included on the 2017/18 Season Ticket.

The fixture forms part of a busy summer schedule for the Hoops who are currently on pre-season in Austria ahead of the start of their European campaign and domestic title defence as they prepare to kick-start yet another exciting and entertaining campaign.

It was honours even when the sides last met in a friendly at Celtic Park at the start of the 2010/11 season, so the Bhoys will set out to secure a victory this time round in front of a packed Paradise.

This friendly v Lyon on July 15 is included on a 2017/18 Season Ticket which will be activated for the game.  A limited number of tickets will also be available to buy – ticket details to follow.
