Michael Duffy completes move to Dundalk

By: Newsroom Staff on 01 Feb, 2017 11:27

  • CELTIC can confirm that Irish youngster Michael Duffy has completed his transfer to League of Ireland champions Dundalk.

The winger signed for the Bhoys from Derry City in February 2015 and went on to feature regularly for the Development Squad.

He spent last season on loan in the Championship with Alloa Athletic, making 38 appearances and scoring three goals.

The 22-year-old, who earned a call-up to the Northern Ireland senior squad back in August,  moved to Dundee on loan at the start of the current campaign, where he played 13 games and found the net once.

Everyone at Celtic would like to thank Michael for his contribution to the club during his two years in Paradise and wish him every success in the future.
