And Fairlie completed the scoring for the afternoon with her hat-trick, after great play in the midfield from Sneddon.
After the game captain Gemma Fay said: “We worked all week on retaining possession, being patient and creating opportunities so it was pleasing to see it come to fruition – especially when our squad is still gelling.”
And manager Robert Docherty added: “This was an encouraging improvement from our last couple of games.
“There is a noticeable increase in confidence within the team, and our new players have quickly settled in and have made a very significant impact.
"I was pleased, too, with the performance of young Fiona Brown, still only 16, who came on in the second half, giving as a width and attacking threat which had been absent earlier.
“Her crossing and cut-backs from the right wing provided excellent opportunities for our strikers Grant and Fairlie, who scored five between them.
"We are looking forward to the improvement in our team play continuing in the coming weeks.”
