General Information
Celtic FC have been given 600 tickets for this match. The following information has been provided by Helsingborgs IF to assist Celtic fans attending the game.
For fans travelling by coach to the stadium, the recommendation is that fans should be initially dropped off at the Olympia Ground. This will allow them to identify the collection point at the end of the match. The town centre is a short 20 minute walk.
The stadium will open 1 hour prior to kick off.
Access for visiting supporters is provided by 4 turnstiles located at the North West Corner perimeter fence.
As Celtic fans approach the turnstiles, there will be a search cordon in place. Please allow sufficient time to enter the stadium.
E-Tickets are in use and will be read at the entry turnstiles by stewards with hand held E Ticket readers.
Celtic fans are located in the western end of the North Stand. This stand is shared by home fans in what is described as a family section. Seating deck netting and stewards separate home and away supporters.
To access this area, visiting fans can use an external stairway at the rear of the stand or a pitch level gate which is also available for wheelchair users.
A low level wall separates spectators from the perimeter of the pitch and is fitted with emergency exit gates. It is important that fans do not access the pitch area unless directed to do so by the safety stewards on duty.
Male, female and disabled toilet facilities are located at ground level at the rear of the north stand. A refreshment kiosk is also available.
Please note this is a no smoking stadium.
Flares and other pyrotechnics are strictly prohibited by stadium regulations and the law. This important safety matter will be strictly enforced by the authorities and persons in possession of such items will be arrested. Supporters should note that breach of this regulation will leave the Club liable to disciplinary action by UEFA.
At the conclusion of the match, it is likely that Celtic fans will NOT be held in the stadium. Should this change, announcements will be made in English to that effect.
Please note it is an offence to drink alcohol in public on the streets of Helsingborg.
Stewarding and Policing
The local police in Helsingborg are aware of the good reputation enjoyed by Celtic supporters and the positive links between both clubs. Officers of Strathclyde Police will be present to assist our fans. The officers will be in plain clothes and identified by a tabard indicating they are Scottish Police. The officers will also be in possession of their police warrant cards.
In addition, Celtic travel stewards will be in attendance at the stadium. The stewards will be identifiable in high viz jackets and will carry personal identification. The police and stewards are there to assist your visit, please follow their advice.
