Stephen McManus
• Nicknamed 'Mick', after the wrestler 'Mick McManus', the centre-back made his Celtic debut against Hibernian in March 2004 when the Hoops won 4-0 at Easter Road.
• Upon Gordon Strachan's arrival at Celtic in 2005, Stephen was given an extended run in the first team and helped the club win the SPL and CIS Cup in that season.
• In the summer of 2007, after the departure of Neil Lennon, he was appointed captain at the age of 24, Celtic’s youngest skipper since Billy McNeill.
• Stephen has been capped 17 times for Scotland and is now captain of the national side.
• The defender has now won six major honours for Celtic and has captained the club to the SPL title and Co-operative Insurance Cup.
