Simon Ferry
Simon rose through the Celtic youth ranks and trained regularly with the first-team squad when Gordon Strachan arrived at the club in 2005.
He was part of the Scotland Under-19 side that reached the final of the 2006 European Championships and then made his first-team debut on a pre-season tour of Poland.
Injury problems cut Simon's 2006/07 season short and he missed almost the entire 2007/08 campaign.
After working hard to make a comeback, Simon managed to get himself fully fit towards Christmas 2008 and he was slowly brought back into the first-team plans.
He made the bench for many of Celtic's games in the 2008/09 run-in and scored the goal that clinched an eighth successive title for the reserves. Simon will be looking to build on that in season 2009/10.
