Massimo Donati
• Massimo joined from AC Milan during summer 2007 on a four-year deal.
• AC Milan had signed him for £10m from Atalanta in 2001 when he was only 20, but he only made 17 appearances for Milan.
• During his time with the Rossoneri, he had loan spells at Parma, Torino, Sampdoria, Messina and, last season, at former club Atalanta.
• Massimo has been capped 26 times at Under-21 level for Italy.
• He is the fourth Italian to play for Celtic after Rolando Ugolini (1940s), Paolo Di Canio and Enrico Annoni (both 1990s).
• He has scored four goals in 41 appearances for Celtic, and his last league goal was against Inverness Caley Thistle at Celtic Park in September 2007.
• His last Hoops goal was a dramatic, injury-time winner against Shakhtar Donetsk in the UEFA Champions League.
