Maciej Zurawski
Maciej Zurawski
Despite missing a considerable portion of his first season through injury, ‘Magic’ still succeeded in finishing as Celtic’s joint-top goalscorer in all competitions, with 20 strikes, alongside Welsh strike partner John Hartson, as Celtic won the SPL. In his homeland of Poland, Zurawski is recognised as one of the national team’s most important players and the striker is also highly-rated by Celtic manager Gordon Strachan. He was hampered by injury last season but is now back to full fitness and competing for a regular starting place.
