• Artur joined Celtic in June 2005 from Legia Warsaw and in January 2008 signed a new deal that will see him remain at Celtic until at least 2011.
• As Poland's number one, he produced another series of outstanding displays in the Euro 2008 tournament in Switzerland and Austria.
• By the end of season 2008/09, Artur had made 183 competitive appearances for Celtic and lifted six major honours.
• He has won three League Championship medals with Celtic, as well as a CIS Cup medal in 2006 and a Scottish Cup winner’s medal in 2007. He was also part of the Celtic team that beat Rangers 2-0 in the 2009 Co-operative Insurance Cup final.
• A penalty specialist, Artur's spot-kick stops include the save to deny Luis Saha against Manchester United in November 2006 which helped book the club's place in the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League and two in a dramatic shoot-out win in the 2007/08 qualifiers against Spartak Moscow.
• In January 2009, Artur became the first Celtic goalkeeper to score in a competitive match when he converted a penalty in the 11-10 shoot-out win over Dundee United in the semi-final of the Co-operative Insurance Cup.
