Peter Lawwell, Celtic 's Chief Executive:
"Celtic will always be much more than a football club and as a major Scottish insitution we will always ensure our social responsibility remains of paramount importance.
As a Club open to all since its formation in 1888, Celtic at all times aims to promote inclusion, diversity and opportunity for all. Celtic was formed to
help an immigrant community in need and in the 120 years since the Club's formation, a charitable spirit and openness has characterised the Club.
These are qualities which will always symbolise Celtic."
Billy Connolly is Patron of the Celtic Foundation.
Billy is passionate about the Club's charity, educational and community engagement programmes and provides excellent support.
"I am extremely proud to play a small part in the work of the Celtic Foundation. The work done at grass roots and across all creeds and colours is at the very heart of Celtic Football Club. They have played a major role in helping the less fortunate from the very humble beginnings with Brother Walfrid back in 1888. There are few - if any - football clubs in existence anywhere in the world with a 'giving ethic' like Celtic."
Robert Docherty is Head of the Celtic Foundation.
"We are very proud of the work which The Celtic Foundation has already carried out across a range of areas and we will continue to ensure that the Foundation goes from strength to strength and continues to play a vital role in honouring the ambitions of the Club's founders."
