Testimonials
Denis Murphy, a coach with Mount Merrion YFC, said: "In 2009 over 20 of our Under-15s attended a Celtic Residential Camp in St Andrews. This was followed up in 2010 when 46 boys from their U14 and U16 age groups went to Kilgraston School in Bridge of Earn. Both camps were hugely successful.
"The coaching quality was of a very high standard and the commitment and enthusiasm shown by the coaches towards the lads was just great.
"The feedback from the lads has been universally positive, great memories, existing friendships re-enforced and new ones forged. Enquiries are coming in already for next year."
And Mark Anderson, chairman of Arklow United, added: "Our under-13 team spent the week living as professional footballers in August of this year at St. Leonard's in Scotland with Celtic.
"The week was packed with training drills, match type situations and challenge games, while the evenings were filled with workshops on lifestyle and nutrition.
"The highlights of the week were many but the trip to Celtic Park and the opportunity to train at Lennoxtown stuck out for the boys and their two coaches who travelled with them.
"As a club in Ireland with lots of players who support Celtic, this trip was a great success, the facilities, coaching and care taken by Celtic with the players and managers was exceptional and all the kids has asked to go back again."
